Topography
The site is mostly cleared and has a gentle slope toward Taylor Bayou. Average elevation is from 2 to 3 feet above sea level. The entire frontage along Taylor Bayou is protected by a 16 foot levee designed to protect against tides of 16 feet or less. Water Frontage/Access. The site has 14,256 feet of frontage along Taylor Bayou, accessible from the Intracoastal Canal and Sabine Pass. According to the Navigation District the actual depth is 14 to 15 feet. It is estimated that 1,508 feet of the site’s water frontage is accessible to barge traffic with a frontage dock located on the property.
