Kizer Field Airport is located in Prescott. It is a lighted asphalt runway that is 3460 feet.
Hope Airport is located 15 miles from Hope and has a runway length of 5560 feet.
Texarkana Regional Airport is a commercial airport that is 40 miles from Prescott along Interstate 30. The airport s a regional hub with American Eagle as its passenger carrier. Charter service is also available with TAC Air. Helicopter Southwest provides helicopter charter services. The airport has two runways with a total length of 6600 feet.
Adams Field is the nearest national airport to Prescott. It is 90 miles along Interstate 30. It is Arkansas's largest commercial service airport.
Interstate 30 is a major East/West interstate that goes through Prescott. Prescott is the halfway point between Dallas and Memphis.
US HWY 371 borders the Prescott Industrial Park and the former Potlatch facility that now serves as a Industrial Site.
AR HWY 200 also known as Ron Harrod Drive is the access road that connects Exit 44 and Exit 46 of Interstate 30. it also borders the Prescott Industrial Park.

The Little Missouri River begins in western Arkansas and continues to the southeast to the Ouachita River. The river is about 22 miles in length.

The Little Rock Port Authority is a shallow water port that is located 90 miles from Prescott.
The Authority was formed in 2010 and consist of Clark, Montgomery, Pike, Dallas and Nevada Counties. The Authority operates under Act 690 of 1997. This allows cities and counties to acquire, equip, construct and operate industrial parks that offer freight, warehouse and distribution services.

Prescott is located in southwest Arkansas along Interstate 30. It is the county seat for Nevada County. It is governed by a mayor and council type of government. Eight council members represent various wards in the city. The Council meets the third Monday of each month at 6:30 at Prescott City Hall.

Nevada County was formed on March 20, 1871. It is one of 75 counties located in Arkansas. Nevada County is composed of 620 miles of land and one mile of water. Nevada County is home to the cities of Prescott, Bluff City, Bodcaw, Cale, Emmet, Rosston and Willisville. The county is governed by the county judge and a nine member quorum court. They meet the second Tuesday of each month at 4:30 at the Nevada County Courthouse.

The City of Prescott has three parks that include softball and baseball fields. Other features include beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, horseshoes, playground equipment and a splash pad. Various pavilions are available for picnics. There are privately owned facilities that offer memberships that include swimming pools, tennis court and a nine hole golf course. In the downtown area of Prescott's is our historic mural that is 96 feet long depicting our rich history.
Prescott Chamber of Commerce is host to the annual Fall Festival each year in October. The festival is held the second Saturday of October at the Nevada County Courthouse. The festival is the showcase for our local arts and crafts vendors as well as commercial booths. Numerous other events include 5-K run/walk, pet contest and pageants. The Chamber also host the annual Easter Egg hunt, Christmas Parade and Breakfast with Santa.
The museum is housed in the restored railroad depot. It showcases the rich history of our area by various exhibits and displays that are interactive. The Depot owns two civil war battlefield sites that are being developed into heritage tourism sites. They are Elkins Ferry (448 acres) and Prairie D'Ann (808 acres).
Nevada County is nestled in Southwest Arkansas in timber country. This creates an abundance for hunting, fishing and camping. We have five state parks within a 45 mile radius of Prescott, with White Oak Lake State Park being located in Nevada County.
The state park is located about 22 miles east of Prescott on Arkansas Highway 387. The 725 acre park provides a fishing lake, tent or trailer camping sites, visitor center, group pavilion, barrier free playground, 3 nature trails and various interpretive services. They also have a store, marina, boat rentals and a launch ramp.
