The Port of Caddo-Bossier lies less than 90 miles from the Texarkana MSA. This 2,300-acre distribution center links customers to domestic and international markets via the Mississippi River and the U.S. Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, and offers ready access to barge, rail, motor freight and air transportation services.

Northridge Country Club- Nestled on 160 secluded acres of rolling hills with tall pines and hardwoods, Northridge’s recently renovated 6,568 yard par 71 course includes traditional runway style tee boxes offering an array of course lengths and difficulties so members of all ages and skill levels will enjoy the course.
Texarkana Country Club- Established in 1914 as a nine-hole golf course with sand greens. The membership chose the prestigious architectural firm of Langford and Moreau from Chicago to design the current golf course in 1922. Mr. Langford is best known for his style of deep bunkers and sloping greens. After a renovation in the spring of 2000, the challenging layout now measures 6,935 from the championship tees but has definitely retained the flavor of its original design. The playing surfaces of the course consist of Tifdwarf Bermuda-grass greens, Zoysia tees, hybrid Bermuda fairways and common Bermuda roughs. Highlights of the course include gentle and subtle elevation changes, a beautiful lake on the front nine, meandering creeks on the back nine, tree-lined fairways and abundant sand and grass bunkers. At one time, Hole #14 was considered one of the top eighteen holes in the country.
Spring Lake Park-In the heart and pride of the Texarkana, Texas park system. This 145-acre park features a spring fed lake, open green spaces with picnic areas, playground units, fishing piers and an 18 hole disc golf course. The 1.75 mile Phillip McDougal Walking/Biking Trail strolls throughout the entire park and is a favorite spot for the recreational or avid jogger. Spring Lake Park is also where you will hear the "crack of the bat” at the Swanger Sports Complex, home of the Texarkana, Texas Dixie Baseball League and Dobson Field, home of the Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles Baseball team. We have two new additions to the park: The Rotary Splash Pad, where cool, wet fun is a much needed break in the hot summer days and the Kylee Sullivan-PetSafe Dog Park, for our canine companions to enjoy the great outdoors in a safe, secure location. The park is also ideal place to spend a Spring and Fall evening watching Movies in the Park offering new and classic releases. Bring your blanket, snacks, lawn chairs and settle in for an evening of entertainment. The park is located at 4303 North Park Road, between 40th Street and Interstate 30.
Bringle Lake Park East-Located on Bringle Lake Park Road is the newest addition to the Texarkana Parks and is also adjacent to University Drive. This secluded 8 acre park sits on the east side of Bringle Lake and is a small step into the wilderness with abundantly beautiful trees and natural surroundings. The park features a floating fishing pier for the outdoorsman, playground equipment for the kids and 10 single pavilions for small gatherings. Bringle Lake East is also a trailhead to the new Bringle Lake Boardwalk that will take you on a relaxing walk and into the Bringle Lake West Park. This parks is for daylight use only.
Bringle Lake Park West-Located alongside University Drive and neighboring to the Texas A&M- Texarkana Campus and the Texarkana Golf Ranch. This open 7 acre park could easily become your favorite recreational spot. Try your hand at fishing at one of the two piers or the kids can have fun at the covered playground equipment. Other amenities include an exercise equipment station, sand volleyball courts and a 1500 Sq. Ft. pavilion looking over the lake. Bringle lake West is also the trailhead to the new Bringle Lake Boardwalk that will take you on a tranquil stroll along the lake and into the Bringle Lake East Park.
Bobby Ferguson Park-Bobby Ferguson Park was named in honor of one of Texarkana, Arkansas's mayors. It's a well kept park, just south of I-30 at the Four States Fair Parkway exit. Just to the north of the park is the small campus of the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope, in Texarkana. Also the new clinic for UAMS is here. The Four States Fairground is to the south. I-49 is just to the south and east. One can access I-49 at the Arkansas Blvd. exit. Ferguson Park covers several acres, and includes a man made lake, where one can find ducks and Canadian geese. There's a new picnic pavilion located on the north side of the lake, which includes clean restrooms. There's a paved hiking trail that winds its way around the lake. There are several picnic tables and a children's playground also in the park. For travelers on I-30 Bobby Ferguson Park is a good place to stop, take a break from driving, and get some fresh air.
