Major nearby operations include Ruveon, Dow St. Charles Operations, OxyChem, Entergy's Waterford 3, Valero St. Charles Refinery, Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Norco, IMTT, Bunge, and ADM.

This concentration provides prospective users with proximity to a substantial base of industrial customers, suppliers, contractors, skilled workforce, and supporting infrastructure. Ruveon is now the appropriate name for Bayer's consolidated U.S. glyphosate business, and Shell continues to identify its Norco complex as the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park - Norco.
